Then this Pickleball Developmental League is for you, starting on Wednesday, March 8th from 6 pm – 8 pm at the Pickleball Training Center in Poway, CA:).

The 4 Week Pickleball Developmental League with Coach Clinton Young is designed for 2.5-3.4 Players (Novice/Intermediate), who are hungry to grow their skills and confidence to advance to a higher level!

Registration OPENS Saturday morning 2/25 at 8 am at www.Pickleball4Life.org. Set your alarm to reserve your space ASAP! Only 16 player spots total.

You do NOT need a partner for this league and will be playing with multiple partners each week.

The Pickleball Developmental League will meet for 4 consecutive weeks and each session will have 2 parts:

Practice, and Implementation

Dates:

4 Weeks

3/8, 3/15, 3/22, 3/29

Time: 6 pm – 8 pm each week

6 – 6:30 pm – Group Coaching: Skills/Drills/Games to prepare for competitive play.

Each week you will be trained and coached for 30-45 minutes, learning the skills and drills required to improve your game and get to the next level.

Week 1: Dinking Skills, Court Awareness, Body Positioning

Week 2: Serve, Return, 3rd Shot Drop

Week 3: Block Volleys, Dig Shots, Resetting to the Kitchen

Week 4: Partner Dynamics, How to Intentionally Construct a Point

6:30 pm – 8 pm – Structured League Game Play to implement learnings and compete!

This portion will be a ladder style league to track your progress and challenge yourself from the beginning to the end of the program.

In these the 4 weeks, you will:

• Build key skills to support your growth
• Eliminate bad habits that are prohibiting you from growing and creating risk for injury
• Experience a massive up-leveling of your confidence in your game
• Develop new friendships and deepen existing ones
• Walk away with the drills that the Pros do that you can continue to practice on your own
• Have a solid foundation to grow to even higher levels

To give you some perspective on the value of this program; my rate for a 1 hour session with a group of 4 is $200+/hour, and $100/hour for a private 1-1 session.

Inclement Weather Policy: The league coordinator will make a decision no later than 1 hour before the start of the program on the day of the event regarding inclement weather cancellations. If an event is rained out before 1/2 way through, it will count as being postponed and a make-up day will be added following the end of the regularly scheduled program.
